1321 CLEAR COLOUR RED 14ml CLEAR Enamel Tinlet
A solvent-based enamel paint with a gloss clear finish.
Usage
A solvent-based, fast dry paint developed for use on plastic model kits but which can also be used on other substrates. This product is specifically designed for clear parts.
Substrate
Clear colour is designed to be used on clear surfaces such as; clear plastic or glass. (always check on a small test area to check suitability)
Application
Brush straight from the tin or Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Cellullose Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to one part thinner. Note that Metalcote colours are designed to be polished when fully dry.
Drying Time
Clear: 1-2 hours touch dry and upto 24 hours for hard dry. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity. Recoat: 6 hours minimum (preferably over night)
Coverage
A 14ml tinlet covers approx 0.3m2 depending on thickness of application
How to Clean
For cleaning brushes use Cellulose Thinners
Contains Preservatives : 5 Chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1), 2- phenoxyethanol. Suitable for ages 8+.
